AKIN ADESOMOJU is the managing partner of Akin Adesomoju & Co. A law graduate from the prestigious university of Ibadan with over 15years cogent experience in corporate legal matters. Akin is an accomplished lawyer with sufficient experience garnered from acting for large, medium and small corporations in business/commercial matters.
Mr. Akin Adesomoju has served as counsel to a number of oil companies and oil service companies in Nigeria rendering such service as; Drafting employment contract and collective bargaining agreement, negotiating collective agreement on their behalf with trade unions and acting for them in all trade disputes.

Akin writes regularly on various employment and labour matters, as the editor of ‘’Employers Guard’’ a monthly newsletter that discusses topical employment issues and updates from legal perspective. He is a frequent speaker on various labour and employment issues at conferences and seminars. One of the notable papers he presented is a paper on ‘’legal rights of employers’’ (presented to the Nigerian Employers’ Consultative Association NECA) on the controversial Rivers State Legislation mandating companies operating in Rivers State to employ only the indigenes of Rivers state on the junior employment cadre. This paper to a very large extent helped companies operating in Rivers State to amicably resolve this issue with Rivers State Government.
Akin attends various seminars and training on employment and labour matter abroad including the United Kingdom regularly. He is a Member (NBA) Nigeria Bar Association, member of International Bar Association (IBA), and on Board of several Successful Companies. He is also a member of the prestigious Ikoyi Club 1938.
